In October, Meraki App Studios approached us with a pressing need to generate immediate leads for their mobile app and software development services. Given the competitive nature of this niche and the high cost-per-click (CPC) and cost-per-acquisition (CPA) in search marketing, our primary challenge was to deliver quality leads while keeping the CPA in check.
Primary Objective: Generate a high volume of qualified leads in mobile app and software development within a month.
Secondary Objective: Maintain a healthy cost per lead (CPL) despite the high competition and CPC in this niche.
Through a detailed competitive analysis, we identified key search terms that would attract serious inquiries. We also assessed potential costs and click-through rates to balance between high-intent keywords and budget constraints.
We proposed a targeted Google search campaign, designed to capture high-quality leads actively searching for mobile app development services.
To improve ad performance, we structured the campaign around tightly focused ad groups, ensuring each ad was highly relevant to its targeted keyword.
We created a high-CTA, optimized landing page to route the ad traffic, designed to engage visitors immediately and encourage conversions.
The page included compelling copy, clear benefits, and a strong call-to-action, guiding visitors seamlessly toward lead submission.
Throughout the campaign, we continuously monitored keyword performance, ad relevance, and landing page engagement to optimize for conversions.
We adjusted bids, tested ad variations, and refined our targeting to keep CPL within target while maximizing lead volume.
In just one month, the campaign generated 49 qualified leads within a budget of $7000, resulting in an impressive cost per lead (CPL) of $142.
Meraki App Studios secured two contracts worth $50,000 from the leads generated, achieving a return on ad spend (ROAS) of approximately 714%. This success exceeded expectations and provided an excellent return on investment for the client.
Despite the competitive landscape, our targeted approach allowed us to maintain a healthy CPA while delivering a high volume of leads. This balance was essential in achieving the client’s goal of immediate, cost-effective lead generation.
