This multiple-location property restoration firm is one of the largest providers of property damage restoration services, serving over 180 locations across the United States. The company offers a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial damage restoration services, including storm recovery, sewage cleanup, mold removal, fire damage restoration, and refinery and factory cleanup.

The client approached Get Found Agency to increase monthly leads and phone calls and expand its commercial services for both corporate and franchise accounts. Since partnering with us, we’ve driven online growth for its corporate and franchise accounts and consistently increased phone calls month-over-month (MoM).

In 2020 alone, Get Found Agency generated a total of 89,422 leads across 180 locations, including 1,345 calls and 2,064 conversions for its paid advertising campaign. Additionally, in February 2021, we achieved a one-month record for the client with 12,884 leads.

Executing the Strategy

The Challenge

This multiple-location property restoration company needed assistance in customizing its digital marketing strategy for each service location. Each target location had different restoration needs, and every franchisee had distinct goals to achieve. Therefore, the client wanted to ensure that these variations were accurately reflected in the local pages.

Additionally, it was crucial to ensure all franchise accounts received the necessary attention while maintaining affordable pricing and delivering the value needed to meet their objectives.

Many franchisees lacked the time to delve into reports to understand the technical aspects of their online marketing strategy. Thus, we aimed to provide them with high-level information that directly impacts their business objectives and revenue.

Get Found Agency's primary goal was to eliminate duplicate tactics and create a personalized optimization strategy for each franchise’s local page. The client needed an enhanced online marketing plan that catered to each franchisee’s local market demands and delivered a high return on investment (ROI).

The Solution

The initial phase of campaign management focused on SEO and website support. To gain a complete understanding of the client’s digital marketing needs and implement effective website optimization tactics, Get Found Agency’s SEO specialists conducted a thorough analysis of competition, website performance, backlink quality, and local search performance.

    We utilized several tools to:

  • Identify the client’s main online competitors

  • Evaluate existing backlink profiles

  • Remove spammy links

  • Determine opportunities for local citations and name, address, and phone number (NAP) consistency

Making improvements in these areas helped increase the client’s domain rating from 51 in January 2020 (per Ahrefs) to 68 over a 14-month period.

A local search audit was conducted for each location, revealing that some franchises had changed ownership, leading to inaccuracies in some listings. To keep these listings as accurate as possible, Get Found Agency’s SEO experts collaborated closely with the new franchisees.

Search Engine Optimization

Our SEO specialists employed advanced SEO tools and crawling software to identify and analyze technical SEO factors requiring attention. The analytics results highlighted several issues, including site speed, broken links, and schema that needed addressing.

Using this data, we compiled a list of action items and systematically worked through each factor we could control:

ROI Tracker

Get Found Agency implemented an ROI tracker and provided resources, including recorded training sessions and flowcharts, to assist franchisees in understanding the value of their closed leads and the impact on their ROI. This ROI tracker aggregates all phone calls into a spreadsheet, allowing franchisees to assign scores and dollar amounts to incoming leads. This enables the client to monitor its ROI per channel in real-time.

Content Optimization

Our SEO specialists reviewed the client’s existing keyword targeting strategy and made adjustments to capture high-value keywords relevant to each franchisee’s local market, specific goals, and preferences. Additionally, we performed a comprehensive content audit to identify and eliminate duplicate content across location pages.

Google My Business (GMB) Listings Updates

We optimized each franchisee’s GMB listings to enhance local rankings and increase sales opportunities. Our SEO experts ensured that all listings contained accurate NAP details and highlighted all available services, including those previously underrepresented. This reinforced to Google that these restoration services are available 24/7 and are a critical component of the business.

In cases where we encountered issues beyond our control, such as server options, we provided additional recommendations to the client.

Web Design and Development

Get Found Agency also took on website support for 85 existing local franchise websites. Our web design and development services included:

  • Complete redesign of the corporate website and 180 location pages

  • Service page content development and optimization

  • Custom content creation for 180 locations, linking to individual social media pages and local franchise websites

  • Call tracking integration, enabling reporting across SEO/PPC/GMB/Direct

Our web developers integrated custom mapping software into the client’s website, allowing visitors to search for their nearest franchise by ZIP code or state.

We also added a “sticky” franchise functionality, which localizes service content and contact details throughout the website. Once a user selects a franchise, the site displays customized content about that specific location, such as the franchisee’s address and phone number. This information remains consistent across all pages until the user selects a different franchise or clears their location. Franchisees can update their service offerings to ensure that only the services they provide are displayed on their local websites.

PPC Management

Following the success of the SEO campaign and website redesign, the client extended its partnership with Get Found Agency to include PPC advertising solutions. Our team reviewed the company’s existing PPC strategy to identify improvement opportunities.

    We developed ad spend recommendations focused on:

  • Targeting specific locations and services

  • Landing page redesigns/optimizations

  • Best performing services and historical insights

  • Goal tracking analysis and setup

Once the ad spend was confirmed, we built out and launched PPC campaigns to improve visibility on the Google SERP. Over time, we analyzed the data from PPC campaigns and optimized them to enhance performance by:

An important focus for the Get Found Agency team was revamping landing pages to emphasize calls-to-action (CTAs) that directly relate to local phone numbers. Most customers seeking restoration services are often in distress and need immediate assistance. Therefore, we adjusted the CTAs to emphasize “emergency, 24/7 service” or similar language, making it easier for customers to contact their local franchisee and enhancing the visibility of the CTA button for page visitors.

Online Reputation Management (ORM)

Get Found Agency also partnered with Rize Reviews to manage the client’s review generation for select locations. Our reputation managers installed a custom review widget on the client’s website to facilitate faster review acquisition. This review widget aggregates customer feedback from the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Facebook, and Google. Additionally, depending on the region, we’ve collected reviews from other platforms such as Nextdoor, Yelp, Angie’s List, and HomeAdvisor.

We provided QR codes to every location to allow field employees to gather reviews from clients face-to-face. Our team now manages 180 active accounts, with additional locations awaiting verification for their listings.
